Brussels has so many things to offer. The Atomium, Manneken-pis, chocolate and also these delicious Brussels waffles! They are done in no time!
Separate the eggs. Combine the yolks with the mix, the butter and the water. Beat to a smooth batter.
Beat the egg whites until stiff, and spatula them into the batter.
Heat a waffle iron (preferably with large holes) and grease it. Pour the batter into the waffle iron. Bake the waffles at high temperature until they are golden yellow and crispy.
Brussels waffles are eaten warm, immediately after baking, or cold. Serve with blobs of whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
